​Hi! I’m Aisulu, a Los Angeles–based designer working across motion, brand identity, graphic design, and 3D.

I see design primarily as a communication tool rather than decoration. Before deciding what something should look like, I focus on what it needs to communicate, whether the idea is clear, and how each visual decision represents the identity behind it. Because of that, concepting is the most important part of my process—and where I spend the most time researching, thinking, and experimenting before moving into execution.

I’m especially interested in building visual systems around one strong central idea and exploring how that idea can translate across motion, typography, iconography, digital experiences, and physical spaces while still speaking the same visual language..
